Daily Drop

The daily craft.

There is something interesting about having a daily craft, something to work on each day. It grows, it adapts to you, and helps practice discipline and develop skills

It doesn’t need to take up a lot of time, it just needs to be a daily practice. The repetitive part is helpful, teaching us how to show up each and every day.

It shouldn’t be stressful or something that you hate, no need to punish ourselves with this practice, ideally it’s an activity you enjoy and want to improve at.

The key to this daily learning is consistency, consistent effort makes learning so much faster, once the routine begins, it’s actually fun. It’s enjoyable, its habit.

These daily habits we’re building can be stacked, scheduled/organized easily.

Here’s an example: Daily reading 7/days per week. Daily Writing 7/days per week. Daily workout 6/days per week.(Rest day: Sun).

This is some of my current stack, this setup allows me to work on the skills i’m interested in building each day. 3 main habits on top of all other daily life tasks.

I want to emphasize, this should not be annoying or unenjoyable. Too much friction will likely ruin the experience. But it should be challenging, a bit.

It's challenging at times for me to keep up with my habit stack, but I still find it enjoyable, I like the feeling of progression and this keeps me motivated daily.

So whats some new habit you can get yourself into? A daily craft to add some structure and practice to life. As a commitment to the pursuit of excellence.

There’s no real pressure in this practice. Its meant to be challenging enough that its fun, but not over complicated. Enjoying the process is what keeps it going.
