Daily Drop
Daily learning is fuel for growth.
If we knew better, we would do better. So why not keep the education alive? Most people stop intentionally seeking learning once they graduate school and enter their careers.
Once they know what they want to do, they learn as much as necessary about their field and from there learning becomes more optional. Not because they’re lazy or don’t care… Life gets busy and we only have so much time and energy each day.
But learning is fuel for our metaphorical gas tanks, to bring us further than we could go before. With more information we’re able to perform better, to try new ideas and ways to prosper.
This can be learning about our field of work, learning about health, spiritual teachings, wisdom, investments, financial literacy, business, relationships, human nature, psychology etc.
The more we learn, the more useful information we have available to us, for utilizing in daily life. We can make better decisions, earn more money, be more healthy mentally, physically and spiritually, we can have better relationships.
All these changes will improve our overall quality of life drastically, which leads to a sense of calm and peace, which leads to greater success in daily life. When we know better, we live better, we feel better, we perform better. Applied knowledge is powerful. But wisdom can’t be put into effect until it’s applied to life. Acted on.
So how do we find time in our busy schedules to learn? Do we have to carve out more time? Go back to school? Not necessarily. This is the school of life. We can learn while we drive with audiobooks, learn while we workout with podcasts, while we cook dinner, or any spare time. If we’re dedicated we’ll make it work.
There’s so many ways to learn. Books, Audiobooks, podcasts, lectures, seminars, masterclasses, courses, classes, programs, online courses, training, mentorships even good old trial and error.
So this is a simple reminder, the more we learn, the more we can earn. Education is often available for free or low cost if that is a big factor for you. The main cost is time. Educating ourselves is well worth the cost and investment of time/money.
The more we educate ourselves in ways that raise our value, the greater the return on investment will be. The greater we become the more we can achieve. It takes some sacrifices to level up. It’s also fun to deep dive into our interests, win, win.
My question for you today is… What are you excited about learning? What are you obsessing about right now? Let’s keep levelling up one step at a time, day by day.
