Dropping It

Daily Drop

Letting go of what’s weighing us down…

Letting go doesn’t usually feel easy or fun. But it’s often very healing to the soul.

The things we cling to usually comfort us, but that comfort zone is a false security.

When we let go of bad habits/addictions, we discover they were slowing us down.

When we can free ourselves from bondage, we see how we were deceived before.

Addiction is no friend, but a thief. A thief of energy, confidence and time.

We don’t need vices to be whole within. We need to be able to sit with ourselves.

Feel our internal state without freaking out, or rushing to numb out and not feel.

We often reach for the vice as a way not to feel what’s going on within the mind.

When we can face ourselves, we’ll see that we don’t need to run from ourselves.

We can love ourselves even if we are not fully where we want to be yet in life.

We don’t need to be perfect to be able to let go of negative energy draining cycles.

We just need to be willing. Be willing to face the discomfort, or the withdrawal.

The discomfort is temporary, it will pass. It’s the price to pay for our freedom.
