Opportunities come to those who are prepared to act.

We receive more opportunities by keeping ourselves vigilant. We stay focused on our purpose and we are not waiting idly, but actively getting ourselves positioned.

We are ready to receive, prepared to act, to move and adapt, willing to risk failing temporarily as we learn. Knowing it will be ok and we can get up and keep going.

When we are growing in our skills daily, bit by bit, showing up. We become the type of people that seem to just attract opportunities naturally. Without force.

We stay sharp, ready. If an opportunity arises we will be there to step up to the plate. This means we can’t be stagnant, we must keep ourselves in the flow.

We learn, adapt, try new things. Always testing ideas, with the curiosity of a child but the drive and discipline of a passionate and skilled professional.

The more interested we are in our work, the better. We will find our work so meaningful and purposeful we naturally are drawn to finding ways to improve.

So instead of sitting around waiting for opportunities, we can do our best to improve at what we do each day, so when they do arrive, we’re excited and ready.

And suddenly, you may find that the more you put yourself out there, being unafraid of the student/beginner mindset, unexpected opportunities pour in.

So what is an opportunity you have been waiting for? And how will you prepare yourself to receive it when it arrives?
