Daily Drop

The mirage of perfection. We feel we get closer to it but it moves further into the horizon.

Many people never release their art or their talents and skills to the public, out of fear it’s not good enough. Avoid the possibility of negative or harsh feedback by simply not sharing.

We fear embarrassment so we just wait until we can have the perfect circumstances. These are avoidance techniques, the reality is there’s not usually a perfect moment. We have to prepare ourselves for opportunities and simply start.

Actually start, and fail, and maybe feel cringe. But so what? nobody really cares or will remember. Everyone is focused on themselves.

We learn through trial and error, pain is remembered, nobody likes to fail, but some give up and believe they’re not capable while others persevere.

So instead of waiting for the perfect time or perfect moment we should just start. That’s how every successful person did it. Overthinking and overanalyzing kills momentum. Doubt stops people before they even start.

We will begin to see once we start that thing we’ve been wanting to do. Momentum comes from action, motivation comes as we make progress.

We don’t have to pretend to be perfect or strive for perfection. We can start messy and figure things out as we go. Constantly learning and implementing the knowledge obtained to improve what we do.
