Daily Drop

Free Education… From distraction to discovery.

The device you’re reading this on can be your best friend or worst enemy depending on how it’s used… A helpful tool or a harmful weapon, choose wisely.

We can use our devices to distract, numb out, waste time, get enraged, get into disputes and arguments, spew lies or hate, envy others, become overstimulated.

This is how many use them, but what if we choose to use them differently, a library in the pocket, a way to coordinate and build, a way to help others grow.

Let’s produce more than we consume, break the loop of doomscrolling, we can stop being entangled by the “web”. We can stop engaging in addictive behaviour.

We can listen to podcasts that help us grow, we can watch YouTube videos that are educational, (not just motivational), we can use the algorithm to our advantage…

we can follow accounts that share new information regarded to your field of work, block the distractions, hit “see more like this” for the content helping you grow.

We can build personal growth algorithms custom made to our interests and to what is relevant to us. Enough of the slop, it’s mindless and just eating our time.

Another thing to know is this stuff is designed to be addictive and capture our attention so we should always beware of our screen time, theres more to life.

These devices we carry in our pockets, the AI and all the other helpful applications should be used to our advantage, but it’s a double edged sword, we must be aware.

With a little discipline and willpower we can turn most peoples biggest distraction into a tool for free education, new understanding, a tool for growth and expansion.

So whats one way today you can turn your devices from enemies stealing time, to friends helping you achieve your goals, live your purpose, build the life you desire?
