Using AI as a productivity tool.

AI can be extremely useful as a tool for productivity, time saving and more.

AI can also be harmful. Here’s how.

When we use AI to outsource creative thinking it can hinder our ability to problem solve. If we become overly dependent and reliant on AI for our creative work we risk dulling our creative vision, and slowing our natural ability to think clearly and express ourselves as individuals.

This is just a simple reminder and warning that if you don’t use it, you loose it. When we outsource our own thinking to a machine we risk dimming our creative skills.

Here are a few ways to optimize our business, social media, and online presence without hindering our own inherent creative abilities.

First AI is excellent for research purposes. Telling the AI you’re using to look into specific information and providing you a summary on detailed research can help us to learn at a faster rate without having to do all the legwork ourselves, this saves time and improves efficiency while we still maintain the ability to digest the information provided to us. We can utilize and implement whats helpful and discard whats irrelevant.

Another great use for AI is brainstorming new ideas. We can share our own ideas with AI and ask it to help us to brainstorm problems to be solved, or solutions to problems that have already been encountered and discovered.

We can also use AI to help us to refine our plans and look for weak areas ands ways to improve methods we are already testing.

AI agents can be very helpful as employees for things like lead generation, finding new customers, or people who may fit our business models as potential clients.

If you are a content creator AI can be very helpful to inform the current trends for social media, whats working and whats not. And AI can come up with new strategies for us to test for ourselves. AI can generate things like on screen hooks, titles and CTA’s while our content stays authentic and true to us and we don’t give AI creative control over our scripts or messages.

AI is a great tool for refining, editing and polishing our creative work, saving us time and energy to focus on the most enjoyable and important parts of our work. I use AI more as an employee that does much of the menial time heavy tasks so I can focus more attention on the creative human elements of my work.

So I would highly recommend testing these new models for yourself and seeing what works and what doesn’t for your own creative pursuits, just be careful not to overly rely on AI in all that you do.

AI is a very effective and practical tool when used correctly, but it can create problems if it is too heavily leaned on for creative discipline, there is a risk of having your work seem artificial and hollow if it lacks your human touch.

So how will you be using AI for yourself to improve your own creative workflow?
