The inner work is as important as the outer work.

The outer world reflects our inner state.

If there’s a big mess internally, it will reflect externally.

When we can be whole internally, our external world will begin to show the signs.

Many people only seek to perfect the external and neglect in the inner state. The problem with this is, it is building a house on sand. We need a firm foundation for the things we’re building.

If we don’t work on our inner state, eventually everything can fall like a house of cards. Anything we work on can be tainted by our inner negativity or it can be blessed by our inner peace and wellbeing.

So this is a simple reminder that our energy should be shared between doing outer work in the physical world, as well as tending to our internal space. Caring for the garden of our minds. Pulling the weeds and watering the seeds.

When we can balance both directions, we will begin to feel more well rounded and stable.

The internal and the external are connected and when we can synchronize the two to the best of our abilities, we will begin to have less ups and downs and more stability. A more steady gradual form of growth, like a tree putting down strong roots before growing into a giant and sturdy.

Whats one way you can work on balancing your inner and outer growth today?
