Filling the blank page.

The act of making something out of nothing.

Often a blank page is intimating, a blank canvas, a block of clay yet to be manipulated. But in this pursuit of filling the blank page we find freedom.

Freedom to create, express and share. Sometimes a blank page feels like a cold wind, other times it feels like the warm sun, inviting and comforting.

A blank page is possibility and opportunity, waiting for its purpose to be fulfilled.

We wont always know what to put on the blank page, i’m not sure we’re supposed to. We just need to receive the signal coming in to us and transmit it.

A blank page has potential to express ideas and communicate to people we may have never met and may never see.

It can become a call to action and create social change, it can be a blueprint to build something new and never before seen.

A blank page can hold lyrics that millions of people will memorize, or the notes for a symphony of amazing sounds.

The possibilities are endless, so let’s not dread the blank page, but rater find our excitement in the unknown, with gratitude for the chance we get to develop as people through the gift of creativity.
