Trusting the process.

Trust, faith, hope. Whatever you want to call it, it’s important for us, we need it.

Without trusting the process the hard work feels meaningless. Without having faith that our hard work is leading somewhere it just feels like toiling in vain.

Whenever we’re building something, there is inevitably a period of time where we’re working without the guarantee that it will be successful.

We need to be able to show up anyway. We need to be able to put in the reps, without seeing the results instantly. We need to keep the dream alive.

Trusting the process allows us to enjoy our work, knowing that eventually we will see the fruits of our labour. We work hard, for the long game. Not instant gratification.

We work for the sake of the process, for purpose. For meaning, to be of service to others. We don’t worry about slow results. Because when we put in the work, it’s not for fame, attention, applause or recognition.

It’s for the sake of our craft, it’s to help others, it’s to better ourselves, it’s to better the world however we can. And before we focus on improving the world, it starts internally with improving ourselves.

Being the people who can change, who can grow, who can give without the expectation of receiving. We trust the process and we don’t let our ego’s get in the way. We don’t let the fear of failure stop us.

Because the main thing that can really hold us back from our goals is fear, doubt, and worry.

So let’s drop the fear, let it go. And move towards our goals with our heads held high. Unafraid in the face of uncertainty, moving forward each day one step at a time. With a knowing that things will work out in the end if we do our best each and every day.

Let’s trust the process, show up each day with a smile and sense of purpose, destiny and fate. Let’s keep a positive attitude, let’s live in the moment and keep moving forward. Let’s have faith that things will work out. And let’s see where this journey takes us.
