Daily Drop
Daily reading is life changing, literally.
Ever since i’ve been reading 7 days a week it’s only been beneficial.
The more we educate ourselves and then apply that information, wisdom and knowledge to our lives the faster we can grow.
We can learn the slow way through trial and error or we can choose to speed things up from learning from others, from history, from different types of individuals all around the world.
Reading is almost like having mentors, people sharing what they know all throughout time and we can access that information for an affordable price if not free from the library.
We can learn from successful people on how they achieved what they did, we can learn from artists, entrepreneurs, leaders, ancient philosophers, spiritual texts or scriptures.
Endless beneficial information is readily available for our consumption and use, how lucky are we?
Many people will spend 6 or more hours a day on their phone but wont take 30 mins to dedicate to daily reading and educating themselves.
Im not saying we should force ourselves to read things we don’t find interesting or to read for hours a day. Just a small amount per day to keep our minds moving in a good direction.
Out of all the digital consuming we do so much of it is useless junk, if not harmful, so why not take some time each day to help our our future selves by reading things that can elevate our perspectives, take a look into the minds and lives of people who were able to achieve what we want to do.
If normal reading the old fashioned way doesn’t work for you audiobooks are another great option that I enjoy and use all the time, in the car, working out, going on a walk. You can be learning while doing almost any mundane task that doesn’t require your full attention or can be done on autopilot.
So how bad do you want it? because anything meaningful requires some dedication and investment. So why not Invest In yourself today by picking up a book and learning. Your future self will thank you.
