Daily Universal Lesson:

‘‘The only thing we have to fear is fear itself.’’ Franklin D Roosevelt.

Fear is a force like gravity that pulls us away from trying new things, or getting outside of our comfort zones to avoid failing.

We don’t have to overcome the fears all at once. But when we overcome one fear, let’s use public speaking for example. Learning to speak in public not only builds that specific skill, but it shows us that we can learn and adapt.

Every time we overcome fear (even in the little things) We show ourselves that we are capable of more than we previously believed.

It just starts with the daily choice. It’s normal to feel the fear, the choice is to not allow it to control us. Slowly but surely we learn to trust the process. We can observe the fears and let them be an alarm, but not a prison.
